On the 25th May 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) will legally take effect. As a business we, if you have traded with us, hold personal data relating to your company, we are legally obliged to inform you of what data we hold for you and how we will/will not use it.
This information that we use and store, on a computer that is NOT connected to the Internet, enables us to trade with you.
We hold company information within our accounting systems which is backed up to a server and stored for data security and loss prevention purposes. This information includes:
- Company name
- Company address (including all site locations)
- Company contacts - supplied by you
- Various Telephone and fax numbers - supplied by you
- email addresses - supplied by you
- VAT number
- Bank Account Details
The data above is only used to facilitate trading with you and your company, plus general correspondence with your staff, in accordance with the new GDPR moving forward.
